GREATER CINCINNATI AND NORTHERN KENTUCKY EAGLE SCOUT ASSOCIATION

Welcome to the Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky Eagle Scout Association. More than 1,200 fellow Eagle Scouts comprise our Association. Some of us earned our Eagle Scout award in the Greater Cincinnati area. Many others earned their Eagle award in communities throughout our country and now live and work Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky area.

Our mission is to create special opportunities for local Eagle Scouts to meet and work with fellow Eagles in our community. Our focus is threefold: networking, mentoring, and service to Scouting and our community. All Eagle Scouts are welcome to participate in any of our programs and activities. Our programs include:

• Social programs: Our annual meeting each May highlights our social activities. Past speakers have featured Eagle Scouts Chuck Roberts of Fox News and Paul Alexander, Assistant Head Coach of the Cincinnati Bengals. We also host an Eagle Alumni night at summer camp each summer and a golf tournament in the fall.
• Young Professional Eagle Scout Association (YPESA): Monthly happy hour socials and special events for our Eagle Scouts ages 22-35 as well as our young Eagles at heart. The YPESA is also partnering with the “Winners Walk Tall” program to provide mentors in local school classrooms.
• Eagle Scout Speakers Bureau: We help the Dan Beard Council and local troops provide memorable Eagle Court of Honor presentations for our new Scouts.
• Service to Scouting: Our Eagle Scout Association actively participates in the Dan Beard Council’s Eagle Court of Honor that recognizes the more than 300 new Eagle Scouts each year in the council area. For the first time in 2006, Eagle Scouts will be serving as mentors at the Council Challenge Camp program that provides a first Scouting experience for young men from low income and minority outreach communities throughout the area.
• Community Service: Networking with Give Back Cincinnati and the Freestore Foodbank to help meet the urgent needs in our community.
